A donation of $50 will provide art supplies, toys, and materials to create engaging learning opportunities for all ages!
Your donation of $120 will sponsor a scholarship membership for a family in need to enjoy The Village for a whole year.
Your donation of $500 or more helps support the mission of The Village so all families in West Central Minnesota can learn, play and grow.
Why Donate to The Village?
Each year, watching the vibrant interactions between caregivers and children at The Village we witness the joy, learning, and the importance of play for children and families.
In March of 2022, The Village became a program of the United Way, and with that transition came an expansion to the original service area. Your donations are currently helping children all throughout west central Minnesota learn and grow in the best way possible, through the POWER OF PLAY!
· YOU help families bond over their experiences in coming to America and create opportunities for all families to connect and support one another.
· YOU make it possible for community and counseling groups to meet at The Village for family events, so children can learn and grow at the same time their guardians do.
· YOU provided children with special needs more than 400 hours of fun at The Village this year and gave their parents some much-needed self-care time while their children played.
· YOU allow kids to be kids, by providing 14,000+ visitors a weather-safe space to be active.
· YOU ensure that EVERY child has access to The Village regardless of their family’s financial standing by supporting scholarship memberships. More than 50% of our members qualify for scholarship memberships.
As we move forward, we can’t stop and WON’T stop helping children and families by sharing the Power of Play, but we need the funds to continue that support. Your donations will go directly to The Village, our programs, our exhibits, and our mission. We couldn’t be more grateful to you for that support.
